Our Inspirational June issue hits the shops this Friday!

Good Morning!
The June issue of Craft Stamper magazine will hit the shops this Friday, May 4th. Subscribers will have been receiving their copies already (just one of the excellent reasons to subscribe!)

Our June issue is packed full of some amazing projects, I’m constantly in awe of the inspirational art the
 designers produce!

We have tutorials using intriguing products this month. Jenny Marples is showing us just how cool the Seth
Apter Rust embossing powder is (wonderful texture, have a look on page 14)

and Emma Godfrey is using clear wax pellets to give her project that special feel. Check that out on page 18.

I just can’t believe that this year marks 25 years on TV for Dawn Bibby! I’m sure there are so many of us
(me included) that have her to thank for our stamping addiction! We have a special giveaway to mark this
25 year milestone on page 36.

In this issue, we also have an inspirational Masterclass on Burlap from Helen Chilton:

a really cool introduction to bullet journalling by Michelle Webb:

and some cool projects using a cookie cutter in our 3D gallery, like this one by Emilia Seiradzan!

Lots for you all to experiment with, and don’t forget, I would love to see what you create! Email me,
or share on our Facebook page!

So, where can you get your hands on a copy of the magazine?

Take It Make It Challenge: Winners Profile

Hello!

Welcome to our Winners Profile, showcasing the Design Winner of our last Blog Challenge!

The very talented Design Winner of our March 2018 challenge is:

Sue Blamey

Sue won the challenge with this beautiful card. We loved the wonderful effect Sue managed to achieve with the butterflies, such a gorgeous blast of colour!

We asked Sue a few questions all about stamping (well, we are Craft Stamper after all!)

Q: How long have you been a stamper, and how did you get started?

A: I was at a craft fair and saw someone demonstrating using a rubber stamp, putting on embossing powder and then heating it. It was revolutionary at the time and got me interested. I have been stamping off and on for about 20 years but have more time since giving up full-time work.

Q: What are your favourite kinds of stamps, and do you have a favourite stamp company?
A: My favourite stamps are flowers. I do love flowers being a keen gardener also. Favourite stamp company? Probably Altenew as their flower stamps are lovely, also Simon Says Stamp and Penny Black stamps.

Q: Describe your style, are you a messy kind of stamper or a more ‘clean and simple’ kind of person?

A: Definitely 'clean and simple' but I do enjoy experimenting with different media and techniques, for example, alcohol inks, water-colours and incorporating those into CAS cards.

Q:What kind of projects do you like creating the most?

A: Cards are my favourite kind of project at the moment as I enjoy making them to join in with card challenges and of course they can be sent to friends and family.

Q: Apart from stamps, what is the one product you wouldn’t be without when you craft?

A: My Sizzix Big Shot as I enjoy incorporating die-cuts in my card-making.

We also asked Sue to show us some of her favourite stamped creations,  and share why she likes them so much. Here are the gorgeous projects she has chosen:

"I chose these three because they reflect my love of flowers and watercolour, with a clean and simple layout" -Sue

Congratulations on being our March Design Winner Sue, and it was lovely to learn a little more about you!

Do YOU fancy having a winners profile all about you on the CS blog?

The profile is part of the prize package for each Design Winner of our challenges. All you need to do is enter a creation into the challenge, then if you are voted Design Winner everyone will be reading all about you before you know it!
